There is no owner’s suite to argue over. Every cabin aboard Luna is comparable in size, light, and finish — so the booking is settled before anyone steps aboard, and no couple spends the week in the smaller room.Luna has no master suite. 03 — The Crew

A captain and a chef,
two of you, all week.

Luna runs with a dedicated captain and chef — a two-person crew for up to eight guests, so service is close without ever crowding the boat. Both will be named ahead of the first charter.

04 — Sample Itinerary

Seven days,
Highbourne to Black Point.

A typical week down the Exuma chain — shaped to the weather and to you, never fixed. The captain reads the wind each morning and adjusts.

Highbourne Cay

Board at the top of the chain. Settle in, a first swim off the platform, dinner at anchor as the sun drops behind the marina.

Embark

Allen’s Cay & Norman’s Cay

Morning ashore with the rock iguanas, then a slow reach south to Norman’s — the sunken plane in the lagoon, drinks at MacDuff’s.

Shroud Cay

A protected park cay laced with mangrove creeks. Take the tender up to Camp Driftwood; let the current carry you back to the sea on the falling tide.

Staniel Cay

Snorkel Thunderball Grotto at slack water, then the swimming pigs of Big Major. A quiet night anchored off the cut.

22 nm

Compass Cay & the Sandbar

The famous nurse sharks at the marina dock, then an afternoon aground on a sandbar that surfaces only at low tide.

8 nm

Black Point

The largest settlement in the central Exumas, and the most genuine. Conch fresh off the boat, a slow walk ashore, the bottom of the chain.

The run home

An unhurried passage back north on the favourable wind, the week unwinding behind you. Disembark the following morning.

Return

Routes vary with weather, sea state, and your pace. Charters run Saturday to Saturday from Nassau or Highbourne Cay.

How many guests can Luna sleep?

Luna has five cabins, each with its own head, and sleeps up to ten. Standard crewed charter is for up to eight guests, which keeps the boat comfortable and the two-person crew attentive.

What does “no master cabin” mean?

Unlike most catamarans, Luna has no oversized owner’s suite. All five cabins are comparable in size, light, and finish — so there’s no hierarchy in the booking and no group has to decide who gets the better room.

What’s included in the rate?

Everything for the week: captain and chef, all meals and provisioning, bar, fuel, dockage, water toys, and Exuma park and cruising fees. Excluded are crew gratuity, transfers to and from the boat, and premium or special requests. One number, agreed up front.

When can we charter?

Luna delivers in September 2026 and opens for charter on February 1, 2027. The 2027 winter season calendar is open now; early weeks are confirmed on a first-come basis.

Where does Luna sail, and how do we get there?

Luna’s home waters are the Exumas in the Bahamas, typically from Highbourne Cay down to Black Point. Most guests fly into Nassau and join the boat there or at Highbourne by a short flight or transfer, which we help arrange.

Can the chef cater to dietary needs?

Yes. There’s no fixed menu — the chef plans around your table and provisions fresh. Dietary preferences, allergies, and special occasions are taken at booking and built into the week.
